On March 24, 2017, DLSU-JRIG invited representatives from the Center for Local Governance (Ateneo de Naga University), Center for Local Governance and Indigenous Peoples Studies (Central Philippine University) and the Governance and Leadership Institute (Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan) to discuss the logistics of our upcoming knowledge workshops. After successfully signing memorandum of agreements with each university, our partnerships established a foundation for developing local infomediaries to benefit civil society organizations. As a result of this planning workshop, we will be assisting each university in hosting Knowledge Workshops to gain a better understanding of the needs of their local CSOs.
